Tata Semiconductor Chip Manufacturing in Dholera
Tata Electronics is setting up a state-of-the-art semiconductor chip manufacturing facility in Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR), Gujarat, with a projected investment of ₹91,000 crore (approx. $11 billion). This marks a major milestone in India's push toward self-reliance in chip production. The project is expected to create over 20,000 direct and indirect job opportunities, boosting employment in engineering, electronics, and support services. 250 Meter wide Ahmedabad - Dholera- Bhavnagar Expressway
The 250-meter-wide Ahmedabad–Dholera–Bhavnagar Expressway is a key infrastructure project set to be completed by May 2025, with 91% work already done. It will reduce travel time between Ahmedabad and Dholera to just 45 minutes. Passing through Dholera SIR, it boosts connectivity to the Dholera International Airport and is expected to attract major investments, industrial growth, and job opportunities in the region.


Dholera International Airport
Dholera International Airport, located 20 km from Dholera SIR, is under fast development with 70% of runway work completed and Phase 1 expected by late 2025. Spread over 1,426 hectares, it will handle both passenger and cargo flights. The airport will greatly boost Dholera SIR’s connectivity, attract global investments, and support industrial growth and job creation.


Dholera Solar Park
Dholera Solar Park, spread over 11,000 hectares in Dholera SIR, targets 5,000 MW capacity, with 1,000 MW already operational. Tata Power has commissioned a 300 MW plant. This green energy project boosts Dholera’s image as a sustainable industrial hub, attracting investments, generating jobs, and supporting eco-friendly development..
